Summary

NIH's mission is to seek fundamental knowledge about the nature and behavior of living systems and the application of that knowledge to enhance health, lengthen life, and reduce illness and disability. We are looking for motivated GS-0343-09/11/12 Management Analysts to help drive the NIH mission. This announcement will be used to fill positions in several institutes and centers throughout the NIH.

Duties

For the GS-0343-9/11/12 Management Analyst position your duties may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Employ advanced qualitative and quantitative techniques to analyze, evaluate, and/or improve the efficiency of internal administrative operations, organizations, or management.
  • Establish study methods and techniques to be utilized in complex studies and audits.
  • Provide higher management with reports, evaluated information, budgetary proposals and similar products necessary for effective direction of administrative operations.
  • Analyze and evaluates the effectiveness of complex administrative operations in meeting goals and objectives.
  • Develop modifications, revisions, and implementing procedures to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of administrative operations.
  • Assures compliance of administrative operations with various requirements and develops strategies for improving administrative functions.
