Duties
- Serves as the focal point of online marketing. Ensures that all content displayed is up-to-date, accurate, accessible, and conforms to higher command level and regulatory requirements.
- Works closely with supervisor, higher level managers and Information Technology specialists in applying and implementing website initiatives.
- Evaluates user requirements and advises on design capabilities and maintenance responsibilities. Assists in the production of marketing plans and materials.
- Communicates MWR program promotions and advertisement to the Installation population through flyers, posters, bulletin boards, calendars, e-mails, announcements and other media. Assists in the marketing and coordination of annual MWR special event.

Qualifications
- Practical knowledge of website maintenance and 1-3 years experience in marketing.
- Must possess organizational skills and be able to work quickly in a web-based environment.
- Must be able to work independently and in a team environment under pressure to meet project deadlines and specific tasks.
- Experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe CS4 (Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, InDesign) is preferred as well as specialized education obtained in course work related to marketing, interactive communications or another related field.
Highly Preferred Criteria:
- Ability to communicate in writing, verbally, and group settings, on a professional level, with co-workers, Leadership, clients, and outside entities.
- Minimum of one-year professional experience managing social media channels for a business.
- Experience using both Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, In Design, or Photoshop) and Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Power Point, Excel, Teams, SharePoint) in a classroom or work setting to create, update, and publish marketing materials, signage, videos, and advertising materials from written, oral instructions or rough sketches at the level required to accomplish the assigned production tasks.
- Available to report to alternate work location as needed to provide briefings and update marketing materials.
Best qualified criteria:
- Volunteer or Work Experience with Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR)
- One year or more experience using both Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, In Design, or Photoshop) and Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Power Point, Excel, Teams, SharePoint) in a professional setting to create, update, and publish marketing materials, signage, videos and advertising materials from written, oral instructions or rough sketches at the level required to accomplish the assigned production tasks.
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Marketing or Graphic Design or equivalent industry work experience.
- Possess experience in Web Content Management and Social Media posting via meta or other scheduling software.
