Summary

About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and is located at the Marketing Office on Osan AB, South Korea.

Work schedule is full time, 40 hours per week. Position requires attendance at FSS events during workday, or after hours, to take photos and/or videos, distribute information, or provide other marketing support.

Duties

Supports Marketing and Publicity by implementing a diversified marketing and communications strategy to promote 51 FSS programs and events to the Osan AB community. Responsible for maintaining marketing messaging on FSS social media and digital platforms, analyzing social media reach and engagement data to continue growth, and providing marketing materials to FSS facilities for campaigns and events. Conducts presentations and/or briefings to promote FSS programs. Ensures integrity of communications by staying informed on legislative and Department of Defense policies that affect internet, social media, and website content.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience: possess one year of experience in social and digital media, online brand marketing, and social networking; experience with online monitoring and measurement platforms and analytic tools; possess a technical understanding of digital platforms, emerging technologies/trends, and integration strategies; possess working knowledge of Adobe design or other web software, as well as Microsoft Office programs.

Education

An undergraduate or graduate degree in business, marketing, communications, news media, public relations, or other related field is desirable.

You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
