Qualifications
Related work experience that include events and promotion implementation management experience. Technical skills to effectively perform marketing and promotions using tools of the trade and social media. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Must be able to develop and make written and oral presentations of technical materials to nontechnical personnel.

A minimum three years of practical experience in marketing, sponsorship, advertising and/or special event programing is highly desirable but not required.
Experience that demonstrates knowledge and application of graphic arts, social networking and other visual media. Skill in using a personal computer (PC) and mobile devices with various software programs (e.g., project management systems, evolving social media platforms).
Knowledge of graphic design and layout, illustrative design, typography, printing procedures.
Ability to produce products using Adobe Creative Cloud, in particular Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
Ability to effectively communicate in a variety of methods including written and verbal communications. Must be able to use public speaking skills to appear on a weekly live radio show, as well as a weekly newcomer briefing.
Knowledge of and ability to use proper grammar, spelling and standard writing styles.
Ability to conceptualize and recommend advertising methods from written and verbal instructions.
Ability to gather and effectively organize information.
Ability to effectively work as a team member with flexibility to work in different positions within the department, in a fast-paced environment.
