Duties

  • Assists with developing content of niche product by suggesting story ideas and keeping management up to date on community events.
  • Provide full range of administrative and clerical support duties.
  • Serves as the central point of contact for matters related to day-to-day operations.
  • Research, compile and/or write entertainment listings, soft feature items and extended cutlines for niche product to include print and electronic mediums.
  • Photograph community events .
  • Attends community briefings, events and functions as a representative for the organization.

Qualifications

Progressively responsible work experience at or equivalent to, the work of the position to be filled. Must possess strong written and oral
communication skills in English; have working knowledge of MS office; experience with digital photography; type 40wpm; have excellent
organizational skills and be able to work with minimal supervision.

PCS Costs

Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials
  • This is a pay-banded position.
  • Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).
  • Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. When authorized, night differential will be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600.
