Duties
- Provides marketing functional services under the general supervision of the Installation, DFMWR, and Marketing Manager.
- Determines marketing techniques and strategies to increase efficiency, enhance participation, and community awareness of all Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation programs. Implements digital marketing techniques and strategies. .
- Conducts media relations, commercial sponsorship, and overall planning of special events. Conducts media relations with on-post media and off-post media, and serves as a representative for the community.
- Coordinates with the installation Staff Judge Advocate to ensure that terms of sponsorship are in accordance with all DA, IMCOM and local regulations and policies.
- Monitors events through execution and provides after action report upon completion.

- Must be willing to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be available during the hours of operation 7:30 a.m.- 5:00 p.m., Monday- Friday.
Qualifications
Demonstrated related work experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Work experience must have been equivalent in complexity, difficulty and responsibility to the next lower pay band level.
Applicants meeting highly preferred criteria will be referred to management first. Highly preferred is defined as having met the following criteria:
- Three years of general work experience of which one year must have been equivalent to the next lower grade (NF-03).
In addition to the three years of general experience mentioned above, must possess knowledge and experience performing ALL of the task listed below:
- Operating various video devices for digital production.
- Managing and creating content for various social media platforms to promote events and services.
- Demonstrable experience in creating marketing strategies and results.
A Bachelor's degree in digital marketing, digital media, or related field can be used to substitute part of experience.
