However, you must be able to demonstrate, through experience shown in your written application materials that you possess the sufficient knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the work of this position without more than normal supervision.
Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of a(n) Materials Expediter (Motor Vehicle Operator) (Direct Hiring Authority) ~ without more than normal supervision. I am able to perform common Materials Expeditor (Motor Vehicle Operator) duties to include process parts requests using computer software received through electronic correspondence; maintain physical custody of material; and move materials to various work areas. I work under normal supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed - Failure to meet this Screen out Element will result in an ineligible rating.
- Physical Effort: The employee stands, stoops, bends and works in tiring and uncomfortable positions. May be required to work at a rapid pace for prolonged periods. Frequently lifts and carries material weighing up to 40 pounds, and at times may handle items weighing over 40 pounds with assistance.
- Working Conditions: Subject position regularly exposed to possible injury associated with handling equipment. Work is usually performed indoors in well-lighted and ventilated holding areas or shop areas. May be exposed for short periods to outdoor conditions. Regularly exposed to shop noises, dirt, dust, fumes, and vibrations. May be required to wear protective clothing such as steel toed shoes, safety glasses, or gloves.
