The ideal candidate for this Financial Management Level 1 Certified (FMC01) position (Career Field ID: C) is a highly skilled financial professional prepared to provide comprehensive support for part-time work roles, advise HQ on budget forecasting/constraints, and execute the USSF budget pertaining to military pay and end-strength. They will possess comprehensive knowledge of military pay specializations, financial management, data systems, and federal debt collection; a strong understanding of safety/security regulations and financial systems; proven ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; and the capacity to expertly interpret and apply military pay regulations. Furthermore, the ideal candidate is capable of handling sensitive information securely, is willing to travel if required, and is flexible with their work schedule to accommodate potential overtime, all while adhering to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012 certification program requirements.
Key Skills and Abilities:
1. Comprehensive knowledge of a large body of complex rules, regulations, laws, and procedures for one or more military pay specializations and financial management; the data system(s) used to support military pay actions; and federal debt collection rules and regulations.
2. Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures. Knowledge of financial systems and concepts.
3. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
4. Ability to interpret/apply regulations and procedures related to military pay.

- Eligible for situational telework only, including Emergency and OPM prescribed "Unscheduled Telework".
- PCS is not authorized. Incentives are not authorized.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- This is a Financial Management Level 1 Certified position IAW the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Public Law 112-81, Subtitle F-Financial Management, Section 1599d.
- Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise.
- May be required to work overtime on an unscheduled or emergency basis.
- May be required to travel by military or commercial aircraft in the performance of TDY assignments.
- Subject to Temporary Duty Assignment (TDY): Approximately 30 days per year.
