Driver's License Requirement:
Must possess a current, and valid state Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger endorsement and air brake (Please do not submit a copy of your license with your application package. You will be required to show your valid commercial driver's license upon selection)

PHYSICAL EFFORT AND WORK CONDITIONS: This position is required to stand, sit, and bend. When loading and unloading trucks or when working on grounds maintenance tasks, the incumbent is required to lift 50 lbs., and occasionally works in cramped and fatiguing positions. Frequent stooping/bending and physical exertion may be involved when assisting into and out of the vehicle.
WORK CONDITIONS: Drivers work mostly outside and operate vehicles in all kinds of weather, both indoors, in a vehicle, and outdoors. Drivers are exposed to dirt, fumes, and to the possibility of cuts, bruises, and broken bones as a result of accidents when loading and unloading the vehicle. When driving vehicles, incumbent is exposed to traffic hazards, inclement weather conditions, and other various safety concerns. Depending on the tasks performed, safety equipment may be required. Must safely handle patients, both stretcher and wheelchair, in loading and unloading from vans and buses. The employee may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Shift work may be required. May be required to work overtime after normal working hours providing it is an emergency or their services are needed to transport patients.

Part-time experience will be credited on the basis of time actually spent in appropriate activities.
