Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). There is no specific length of training or experience required. However, you must be able to demonstrate, through experience shown in your written application materials that you possess the sufficient knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the work of this position without more than normal supervision.
Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of an Motor Vehicle Operator without more than normal supervision. which includes operating multiple types of vehicles such as stake bed trucks (up to 5-ton class), refrigerated vehicles, tactical and non-tactical wheeled automotive vehicles; unloading and loading cargo to prevent damage during transit; performing minor maintenance on vehicle; operating vehicles in all types of traffic and weather conditions; and inspecting cargo to ensure materials match required documentation - Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating.

- Physical Effort: Work requires the use of arms, feet, and legs to operate hand and foot controls. There is light physical effort used reaching, bending and turning when performing driver's maintenance to vehicle. Must be able to lift/ move 50 pounds during the loading and unloading of supplies and equipment.
- Working Conditions: Incumbent operates vehicle from enclosed cab but drives in all types of traffic and weather conditions and is exposed to the possibility of serious accidents. Operator is subject to cuts, bruises, and broken bones as a result of accidents while driving.
