Clarification from the agency

Requirements
Conditions of employment
- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one-year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 and a Child Care Tier 1 background investigation is required.
- Must have current health assessment which documents good mental and physical health, freedom from communicable disease, and immunizations IAW current Army and DoD policy including annual influenza vaccinations.
- Schedule includes irregular hours, evenings, holidays, and/or weekends.
- Duties involve working both indoors and outdoors under different types of weather conditions.
- This position requires mandatory drug testing.
- Satisfactory performance and successful completion of Annual training requirements within prescribed time frame are required.
- This position requires mandated reporting of all suspected incidents of child abuse/neglect.
- The physical ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs, walk, bend, stoop, and stand on a routine basis is required.
- The appropriate driver's license must be valid and current.
- Drives outside in all kinds of weather in a controlled traffic environment throughout a military installation. Exposed to dirt and fumes, and the possibility of cuts, bruises, and broken bones as a result of accidents while driving.
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma is required.
Qualifications

A qualified candidate must possess the following:
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.
- Ability to communicate in English at a level to assure the duties described can be accomplished in a safe and satisfactory manner.
- Experience in accomplishing the types of duties described in this job.
- Requires a commercial drivers license (CDL) with no restrictions to operate a passenger vehicle that carries 16 or more.
Education
High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma is required.

PCS Costs
- Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
Allowances and Differentials
- This job falls under the Federal Wage Schedule (FWS) pay system. FWS employees earn overtime pay for working more than 8 hours in a day or more than 40 hours in a week - whichever gives the employee more benefit. Regular full-time, regular part-time, and regularly scheduled flexible employees may receive Sunday premium pay for working on Sundays. Employees may also be eligible to receive extra pay if the majority of their scheduled hours falls after 3:00 PM.
- Foreign overseas allowances, post allowance, and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
