Qualifications
About the Position: The Joint Munitions Command provides the Joint Force with ready, reliable, lethal munitions at the speed of war. JMC's mission is to support the production, storage, distribution, and demilitarization of munitions. This position will operate truck tractors with semi-trailers, full trailers, and buses to transport cargo and/or passengers safely located at the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant, which is a subordinate installation of JMC.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
There is no specific length of training or experience required. However, you must be able to demonstrate, through experience shown in your written application materials that you possess the sufficient knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the work of this position without more than normal supervision.
Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of a(n) Motor Vehicle Operator (Materials Handler) ~ without more than normal supervision. - Must possess the ability to perform common tasks including operating gasoline or diesel powered vehicles equipped with transmissions having four or more forward speeds. I can maneuver such vehicles when driving and backing in narrow or congested areas, between buildings and when positioning vehicles at loading docks or public roads and highways. I have the basic understanding of how to load and unload cargo. Failure to meet this Screen out Element will result in an ineligible rating.
PHYSICAL EFFORT
Must be capable of moderate to heavy physical effort to load and unload items by hand and to operate hand and foot controls on vehicles and equipment.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Is required to work both inside and outside occasionally being exposed to bad weather conditions while loading and unloading vehicles. Drives in all types of traffic and weather. Is frequently exposed to the possibility of serious accidents.
