Physical Requirements: The work requires climbing in and out of vehicles, moderate to heavy physical effort when loading and unloading patients and driving long hours. Must be physically sound and have good coordination of eyes, hands, feet, and vision and depth perception; must be mentally alert to traffic hazards and dangers of the highway. Considerable physical effort may be required to change tires and make limited emergency repairs, such as installing an emergency fan belt or replacing an electrical fuse on open highways.
Working Conditions: You will be required to operate vehicles in all types of traffic and weather on public roads (or the equivalent), and is exposed to the danger of serious accidents; drive in heavy traffic and at highway speeds over complicated road and interchange systems. You may be exposed to dirt and fumes, and to the possibility of cuts, bruises, and broken bones as a result of accidents while driving. May also be exposed to patients with all types of diseases, viruses, etc.

* All applicants must possess a current and valid state Driver's License, active Class C with Passenger (P) Endorsement to operate motor vehicles required for this position. IMPORTANT: A full year of work is considered to be 35-40 hours of work per week. All experience listed on your resume must include the month and year start/end dates. Part-time experience will be credited on the basis of time actually spent in appropriate activities.
