Basic Requirement:
Degree: biological sciences, agriculture, natural resource management, chemistry, or related disciplines appropriate to the position.
Or
Combination of education and experience: Courses equivalent to a major, as shown in A above, plus appropriate experience or additional education.
Along with meeting the Basic Requirement you must also meet the Specialized Experience for this position.
Specialized Experience: Have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-9 grade level in the Federal service which includes the following. Perform work to ensure the organization meets compliance for the National Environmental Policy Act for its natural resources. Under the guidance of full performance specialist provide information and create written plans to manage, monitor, clean up and provide guidance for natural resources. Perform inspections of lands to ensure compliance, assess damage or monitor repairs or clean up for damaged property. Provide information into automated systems to track a variety of natural resource information to meet laws or use the information for future planning. Provide guidance and training to managers and other personnel on the Natural Resource Management Programs to maintain awareness of how to best use and protect these resources.
