This position is located in Geilenkirchen, Germany, home to the NATO Air Base that supports the multinational E-3A Component mission. Geilenkirchen lies in the far western region of Germany near the borders of the Netherlands and Belgium, offering a uniquely international living environment. The surrounding area is characterized by gently rolling countryside, small towns, and easy access to major European destinations only a few hours away such as Aachen. Aachen, one of Germany's oldest cities and once the seat of Charlemagne and the traditional coronation site of Holy Roman Empire kings. While the installation is not a U.S. base, a U.S. component operates within the NATO Air Base to support the broader NATO mission.
