In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
Applicant must have progressively responsible experience in clerical or office work that provided a thorough knowledge of administrative principles and practices. Experience must have been sufficiently demanding to demonstrate ability to perform at this pay band level Must have knowledge of the USDA CACFP directives, policies, procedures, and nutritional requirements and familiarity with forms, records, file maintenance and computer-based programs related to the USDA food program. Ability to compile, research, reconcile, and record financial data and handle/account for monies collected. Knowledge of basic rules of grammar, spelling, capitalization, and punctuation, and of standard abbreviations.
Condition(s) of Employment: Must be 18 years of age, hold a high school diploma (or equivalent). Must be able to speak, read and write English. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical and provide proof of or obtain required immunizations. Employee must have a valid driver's license and have a good driving record if required to transport children. Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Successful completion and favorable adjudication of appliable background investigation (Tier 1 Level), State Criminal History Records Checks and Installation Records Check."This position has been identified as a Test Designated Position (TDP).
