To Qualify for the DG-03
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band (DG-02) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following duties: 1) Assisting in editing standard correspondence, reports, and other technical documents for grammar, spelling, punctuation, format, and effective presentation of information; 2) Assisting in creating travel orders and vouchers for employees attending off-site meetings, conferences and trainings; 3) Operating copiers, scanners, computers, and administrative/office software programs; 4) Answering telephone calls and refers them to the appropriate staff members.
To Qualify for the DG-04
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level or pay band (DG-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Drafting memorandums in accordance with established manuals; 2) Preparing and processing travel documents, including travel orders, vouchers, and itineraries utilizing travel management system; 3) Performing a full range of office management procedures to support the planning, coordinating and/or prioritizing of tasks; 4) Maintaining calendars, scheduling appointments, and arranging meetings or conferences; 5) Editing standard correspondence, reports, and other technical documents for grammar, spelling, punctuation, format, and effective presentation of information.
