Duties
Performs office automation duties in support of the Resource Management section. Uses Microsoft Office Word processing, Excel, Power Point, software to produce a variety of documents. Creates memos and letters following Air Force Tongue and Quill guidelines. Transmits and receives documents, messages, electronically using a personal computer, or workstation that is networked or linked to other computers or workstations throughout the work areas or organization. TMT monitor - Uploads / Monitors FSS correspondence routed to various levels of base leadership. Tracks document, follow up as needed to meet suspense's. Focal point for Private Organizations. Ensuring private org briefings are completed before 15 February each fiscal year, and suspension letters are staffed before 15 March each fiscal year. Conduct private organization training, maintaining files, and Private organization tracking. Update supervisor at least once every two weeks on status of private organizations. Types correspondence, reports, forms, messages, memoranda, statistical or tabular material, where spacing arrangements are complicated, directly in final form without a rough draft. Completes meeting minutes within five workdays of the NAF council or Activity Manger review meetings to final draft IAW AFI references. Arranges the material in a form necessitated by the nature of the subject matter, the purpose for which it is to be used. Performs a variety of general office duties such as receiving telephone calls, visitors, routing, filing correspondence, and maintaining files. Performs purchasing duties, using methods for a variety of standard items from authorized sources that are well advertised and well known. Maintains office supplies lists, requests supplies approval for purchase, maintains a list of recurring supplies needed for normal day-to-day operations. Creates and maintains official files and other reference material IAW established procedures. Responsible for the Life of the Fund files. Serves as Alternate Resource Protections monitor, ensuring internal control checklists / procedures are compliant. Work with the 92 FSS primary POC each quarter to ensure reports are received, reviewed, and uploaded to answer MICT related questions each quarter. Serves as Alternate Vehicle control officer. Ensuring monthly reporting is complete, Monthly maintenance is complete. Working with 92 FSS Primary VCO and Activity Managers to ensure compliance. Ensuring MICT VCO questions are updated each quarter. Performs some logistics duties for the squadron. - Counting inventories when assigned as an independent observer. Quarterly. Assisting Mangers when needed to pull inventory reports and inventory labels. Serves as Alternate Central Cashier - Ensure compliance with DAFIs and DAFMANs applicable to the Central Cashier. Review FSR OI for Central Cashier. Ensure check processing capabilities are kept current. Log into the system once every 3 weeks to ensure passwords are up to date. Once a month work the cash cage to keep proficient in procedures. Performs general accounting work in order to maintain a combination of journals and ledgers. Examines and verifies a variety of documents to determine their mathematical correctness and completeness of information. Documents may include but not limited to cash receipts, cash register tapes, checks, credit card receipts, purchase orders, vouchers, payrolls, property records, which may be complicated by discounts and partial payments. Responsible for receiving and processing deposits from all the activities. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifying Experience:
Must demonstrate progressive responsibility in general clerical experience involving arithmetic accuracy, and attention to detail. Must have experience in clerical or office work which demonstrates increased responsibility and knowledge of office automation software (MS Windows, MS Office. Power Point, Word, Access, Excel). correspondence, formats, grammar, and spelling. Must have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Must demonstrate critical thinking and time management skills. Must have experience with general knowledge of accounting procedures and techniques. Must show progressively responsible experience in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit, custody, and other processing of cash items when this includes ( I) direct handling of cash items and (2) use of cash accountability control methods.
Education

FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
