The area of consideration is Stuttgart, Germany U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. or U.S. Territory for three (3) or more continuous years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation. Duties
- In a large hotel, incumbent serves as the Office Manager working under the supervision of the manager.
- Incumbent independently initiates, manages and/or coordinates all administrative actions and projects for the office of the Manager and all departments in the organization.
- Independently performs and accomplishes planning, organization, coordination and accomplishment at the managerial level for all office support work required for each of the departments to include Accounting, Food and Beverage and Personnel.
- This support will include, but not being limited to coordinating, monitoring and taking action to ensure that all administrative or operational related projects are completed on time to the standard acceptable to the Manager.
- Review all administrative traffic, taking action and/or developing responses or plans of action and presenting options/responses ready for signature by the Manager.

- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid US Army (USAREUR) Certificate of license.
Qualifications
Progressively responsible clerical and administrative experience indicating the ability to perform the duties as described above. Must possess the ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing. Must type at least 40 WPM using computers and their related software. Must have good customer service and people skills in order to accomplish assigned tasks. Must have the ability and skill to research and analyze situations in order to solve or resolve problems and complete tasks.
Driver's license (US state and US Army Europe) must be submitted at the time of application.
Best Qualified criteria:
-Two (2) years managerial experience which demonstrates the ability to perform duties such as planning, organizing, coordinating, and monitoring administrative personnel actions.
-Possess experience coordinating multiple managerial department heads and special staff calendars and event schedules (e.g., Training Schedules), developing, drafting, reviewing and preparing minutes, memoranda, operating procedures/policies, presentations, spreadsheets, and reviewing such items and other management information tools for correctness (grammar/spelling/accounting/data entry), audience, and ensuring attention to detail.
-One (1) year experience preparing, reviewing and interpreting financial reports with the ability to correlate raw data into Excel and Powerpoint and brief management regarding the findings.
-Do you have one (1) year accounting or bookkeeping experience.

The Stuttgart Lodging facilities operate 24 hours a day 365 days a year and are staffed around the clock. Scheduled tour of duty is irregular and rotational, to include mornings, evenings, nights, overnights, weekends, and US and German holidays. You will be required to work at all Stuttgart Lodging facilities during all shifts, based on staffing requirements.
