Duties
- Performs “Hands-on” supervision of the restaurant. This includes but is not limited to occasional temporary non-scheduled assistance with serving, hosting, cooking and other duties.
- Monitors operations to ensure smooth running of the business operation during peak business hours to set the pace in Front and Back of the House.
- Helps control the guest flow and monitors ticket times. Ensures consistency in food and service to increase sales by performing table visits. Opens and closes the facility and performs fire and security checks.
- Assumes responsibility for cash during shift including cash collected from waiter’s guest checks. Conducts inventory at beginning and/or end of shift.
- Provides administrative supervision to all employees, authorize employees to clock in and out; reports to functional supervisors on employee performance.

- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
- A food handler’s certificate is required.
- Successful completion of either front of the House or Back of the House Franchisor specified training.
- Must be available for duty during days, nights, weekdays, weekends and some holidays as scheduled.
- Work requires the ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
- Must meet state/local age requirements at the time of appointment for selling and serving alcoholic beverages (18 years of age).
- For positions working Front of the House, a alcohol servers certificate is required.
Qualifications
1. A minimum of 6 months experience effectively working in a fast-paced food and beverage establishment or a current MWR Texas Roadhouse team member.
2. Must possess good interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
