This position is located at Texas Roadhouse on Fort Campbell, KY. This is a regular part-time position (20 hours) with eligibility to participate in the NAF Employee Benefits Plan.

Duties

  • Performs “Hands-on” supervision of the restaurant. This includes but is not limited to occasional temporary non-scheduled assistance with serving, hosting, cooking and other duties.
  • Monitors operations to ensure smooth running of the business operation during peak business hours to set the pace in Front and Back of the House.
  • Assumes responsibility for cash during shift including cash collected from waiter’s guest checks.
  • Conducts inventory at beginning and/or end of shift. Provides administrative supervision to all employees, authorize employees to clock in and out; reports to functional supervisors on employee performance.

  • A one year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
  • Successful completion of either front of the House or Back of the House Franchisor specified training.
  • A food handler’s certificate is required.
  • Ability to work weekends and evenings as scheduled.
  • Work requires the ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • A physical is required.
  • Must meet state/local age requirements at the time of appointment if serving alcoholic beverages. (Age requirement to serve/sell alcoholic beverages in the state of Kentucky is 18 years old)

Qualifications

A minimum of 6 months experience effectively working in a fast-paced food and beverage establishment or a current MWR Texas Roadhouse team member. Must possess good interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.

PCS Costs
  • Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials
  • This is a pay-banded position.
  • Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).
  • Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. When authorized, night differential will be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600.

  • Incentives will not be paid.
