Supervise NAF employees in maintenance, motor vehicle, linen exchange, and logistics for lodging operations (175 to 799 rooms/units).

Accountable for quantity and quality of work performed by assigned employees.

Hires, promotes, motivates, disciplines, and separates employees.

Writes, coordinates, submits, and tracks work orders to completion.

Ensures safety inspections (facility, fire extinguisher, preventative maintenance, OSHA) are current and documented.

Documents and fosters proper maintenance and warehouse practices.

May drive government motor vehicle to inspect lodging facilities, rooms, common areas, grounds, equipment, and tools.

Identifies minor plumbing, electrical discrepancies, sanitation problems, or deteriorated paint surfaces.

Ensures routine inspection and minor maintenance are performed on lodging vehicles.

Maintains bench stock levels of parts, materials, tools, and equipment.

Establishes and maintains minimum stock levels of expendable supplies and amenities.

Manages stocks of perishable items to ensure use before expiration dates.

Establishes and maintains appropriate security for high-value items subject to pilferage.

Responsible for warehousing of expendable and nonexpendable backup stocks per supply warehousing and safety policies.

Assigns, directs, and reviews work of subordinates; evaluates work performance.

Approves or disapproves sick leave, annual leave, or other absences from work.

Plans, schedules, and coordinates work operations.

Determines equipment and supplies needed according to priorities/objectives outlined by supervisor.

Discusses unusual problems or circumstances with supervisor.

Inspects completed work for quality and completeness.

Provides initial and recurring training for all employees.
