Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Leading a team of Labor/Management-Employee Relations (L/MER) specialists who provide advisory and consultative services on complex agency matters related to conduct, performance, attendance, dispute resolution and labor relations; 2) Serving as staff advisor and consultant on a diverse spectrum of employee relations and labor relations functions; 3) Analyzing a variety of employee conduct and performance-based problems; 4) Responding in writing to LMER issues and appeals; 5) Serving as a technical representative at third party proceedings; 6) Providing advice to managers on a variety of management-employee relations matters such as performance issues, conduct actions, grievances, appeals, and labor-management partnership.
CONTROL POINT This position is subject to a salary control point at the GS-14, step 10 base salary. Salary for the position will be set within a range from $129,690.00 to $168,597 with locality. If the incumbent's salary currently exceeds this level, the salary will be at the incumbent's existing salary.
