Summary

You will serve as a PLANNER & ESTIMATOR (AIRCRAFT ENGINE MECHANIC) in the MRO PRODUCTION DEPARTENT, PRODUCTION LINES DIVISION of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.

Duties

  • You will interpret blueprints, manual and technical materials.
  • You will communicate verbally and in writing with all level of personnel.
  • You will examine and determine depth of rework on various engine components and parts.

The Screen-out Element for this position is: Ability to do the work of the position without more than normal supervision performing the most difficult and complex tasks including: 1) Estimate costs and preparing job order specifications to assign work to Engine rework shops or trade groups; 2) Analyze work orders for manufacture or repair of aircraft, aircraft engines and their components; 3) Estimate time and costs, manpower and materials required to accomplish work; 4) Prepare schedules to designate work to be accomplished by engine rework shops; and 5) Examine aeronautical equipment to be repaired or modified to determine the sequence of operations and work required.
