SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
In order to qualify for this position, your resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are being considered. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled and has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities, to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
FOR GS-09 (one year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-07):
Experience with the work of shipbuilding trades and Shipyard department structures.
Experience with the functions, policies and procedures of Shipyard organizations, work structures and financial systems.
Experience applying the theories, principles, methodologies and techniques of cost and schedule control concerning the use of manpower, machines and materials in manufacturing operations.
Experience using computer software to collect and design performance data graphics.
FOR GS-07 (one year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-05):
Experience with the work of shipbuilding trades and Shipyard department structures.
Experience with the functions and procedures of Shipyard organizations.
Experience using computer software to collect and design performance data graphics.
