Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience demonstrating knowledge and skills in ship repair and planning processes, procedures, automated programs and materials needed to plan for current or future production control requirements for maintenance, repair and inspection of naval vessels.
Experience demonstrating comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the requirements of specifications and manuals governing ship planning, estimating and overhaul process (i.e. JFMM, General Specification for Ship Overhauls (GSO), Naval Ships Technical Manual (NSTMs) for contracted repair.
Experience planning, estimating, scheduling, expediting labor, machines, and materials in an industrial environment.
Experience managing contractor contract efforts and integrating work processes across various complex shipboard systems including the work of all activities to ensure contractor performance and reports are in accordance with issued Technical Instructions.
