Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following:
1) Understanding of the Navy's Safety/ Management System/ Risk Control System, its associated principles, purpose, and desired outcomes;
2) Applying both quantitative and qualitative assessment methods, fact finding, and investigative techniques in order to provide senior leaders with information needed to make risk-informed decisions impacting their organization's ability to effectively execute its missions, functions, and/or tasks;
3) Interpreting and applying laws, policies, regulations, standards, and procedures in support of assessment efforts;
4) Developing and presenting findings, reports, and/or specific recommendations that support senior-level decision making, both inside and outside of the organization;
5) Identifying and analyzing complex organizational and/or operational issues, assessing their relevance, and determining the accuracy of information received;
6) Developing potential solutions and making timely/effective recommendations to senior leaders.
