Summary

You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the HOUSING DEPARTMENT of COMMANDER NAVY REGION EUROPE Capodichino, Italy.

Duties

  • You will serve as the principal advisor, program analyst and project manager for the spectrum of Housing Programs.
  • You will direct, implement, coordinate and oversee a variety of management programs impacting Navy Housing by planning and conduct special studies to provide recommendations to management.
  • You will develop, analyze and evaluate policy, regulations, and objectives for assigned programs and take actions to achieve organizational objectives.
  • You will advise on program analysis activities to identify and rectify systemic/ programmatic issues in assigned programs.
  • You will prepare information, position papers, and congressional testimony to present to higher authorities including Congress and other agencies.

  • This position may require travel to places within and outside the contiguous United States which could include remote or isolated sites. You may be required to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • If eligible for permanent change of station, the appointee will be required to sign a transportation agreement to establish a Government time in service requirement of 12 months.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport.
  • May be required to obtain a VISA dependent on the overseas country's laws/regulations.

Qualifications

GS-13
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience may include:
-Evaluate and advise on organization structures, methods, and procedures to improve program deliverables and efficiency.
-Develop, implement, and maintain, long and short-range resources and program plans.
-Perform budget, financial and resource analysis to ensure long-term program support.
-Identify and recommend requirements and deficiencies for the inclusion in the programming process.
