Duties
As a PROGRAM ANALYST, GS-343-09, you will establish supply discipline as regulatory guidance; standardize supply discipline requirements; provide responsible personnel with a single listing of supply policy requirements; make the ARNG more efficient with respect to time spent monitoring subordinates' actions; eliminate repeat findings of noncompliance with policy; serve as a monitor for the Command Supply Discipline Program (CSDP) management controls. Perform other duties as assigned.

- KANSAS NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED.
- This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard.
- Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform.
- Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment.
- Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for Selective Service.
- Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation.
- May be required to successfully complete a probationary period.
- Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance within one year of appointment.

Must be willing and able to cross train into the compatible MOS (90A)
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education, or training in administrative, professional, investigative, technical, or other responsible work which demonstrates analytical ability and a practical and theoretical knowledge of the functions, processes, and principles of management. Knowledge of the National Guard organizational structures, functions, procedures, and techniques. Experience using computer and automation systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 1-year specialized experience, education, or training equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Experience, education, or training which has provided application of practices, theories, techniques, and methods of management. Experience analyzing, interpreting, and developing policies and procedures of local management.
ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Extensive travel is required to perform duties throughout the state.
Proficient in logistics standard army management information system (STAMIS).
PHYSICAL EFFORT: The work is primarily sedentary, although some slight physical effort may be required. Assignments regularly involve long periods of standing, bending, and stooping to observe and study work operations in storage, or comparable work area.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Typical work is performed indoors or outdoors, in an environment involving everyday risks.
