This position is designated as Emergency Essential (EE) IAW/section 1580 of title 10, United States Code, E-E. The incumbent must sign a DD Form 2365 and maintain certain levels of medical, security, performance, conduct, and overall fitness that make them suitable for assignment to an austere and stressful combat environment.
This position is determined to be Key. In accordance with DOD 1200.7, this position shall not be vacated during a national emergency or mobilization without seriously impairing the capability of the parent federal agency or office to function effectively.

PPP applicants will be placed at the FPL, if determined Well Qualified (WQ). To receive priority consideration, the FPL must be the same grade level or equivalent of the retained grade or the grade held immediately prior to separation.
This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
Relocation and recruitment incentives up to 25% may be authorized. The current workweek is Sunday through Thursday. Employees hired from continental U.S. will receive Sunday Premium Pay (computed at 25% of basic hourly rate, eight hours per week).
