Key Responsibilities
Deliver nursing care to pediatric and adolescent patients.
Conduct comprehensive telephone and clinical triaging independently.
Facilitate care coordination using a multidisciplinary approach.
Review patient charts to evaluate medical history and healthcare needs.
Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and maintain detailed documentation.
Recognize and report abnormal test results and symptom changes.
Contribute to patient and staff education initiatives.
Ensure nursing staff competencies align with clinic policies and standards.
Qualifications
A degree or diploma from an accredited nursing program (attach transcripts).
Current, active, unrestricted nursing license (must have passed the NCLEX).
One year of professional nursing experience, especially in pediatric care.
Strong background in administering medication and patient education.
Conditions of Employment
Must consent to and pass a personnel security investigation.
Seasonal influenza vaccination or recognized exemption required.
Must agree to drug testing as a condition of employment.
Ability to handle moderate to heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds).
Immunization screening, including Hepatitis B, is required for positions with direct patient contact.
Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
