Education
A doctoral degree in Pharmacy that is recognized by the
Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) or an accrediting body recognized by the
U.S. Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained.
Licensure
Applicants must be licensed to practice pharmacy in a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States
In addition, to the Basic Requirements, you must also meet the Minimum Qualifications stated below-
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS-GS-0660-12:
- One (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: Providing clinical pharmacy and drug information services to individuals and the preparation of the complete range of sterile products and intravenous additives for a medical facility; ensuring correct labeling, handling and storage of pharmaceutical products; advising physicians of possible safety issues; compounding drugs as prescribed; and teaching pharmacy techniques/procedures to other pharmacists.
You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement.
