About the Role:

If you're a motivated and experienced Physical Therapist, we invite you to join our team at the Boise VA Medical Center. As an independent practitioner within our Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Service, you’ll play a pivotal role in improving the health and well-being of our veterans by providing top-notch therapy services.

Key Duties:

• Perform accurate diagnosis, examination, and intervention using evidence-based practice.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Utilize differential diagnosis to address systemic diseases and medical conditions.
• Manage complex patient cases, evaluating multiple body systems using standardized tests.
• Provide expert consultations and communicate effectively with both patients and staff.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to studies to enhance clinic performance and accessibility.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
• Must have a valid and unrestricted state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the United States.
• Demonstrated expertise in making autonomous clinical decisions in a Direct Access environment.
• Experience in wound care management is preferred.
• Must be proficient in both written and spoken English.
