Job Overview

We're seeking dedicated individuals to serve as Police Officers at our installation. You will be responsible for responding to emergency calls, investigating incidents, and ensuring the security of our community. Your role is crucial in maintaining safety and order on our premises.

Key Responsibilities

Respond to emergency calls and conduct preliminary investigations.
Gather and analyze facts for investigations; protect evidence and interview witnesses.
Perform law enforcement duties at designated posts within the installation.
Conduct vehicle and pedestrian checks, inspecting IDs, packages, and belongings.
Set up checkpoints and roadblocks as needed.
Enforce traffic laws and manage vehicle/pedestrian movements.

Qualifications and Requirements

U.S. Citizenship is required.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Valid U.S. driver's license required.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
Must pass background checks and pre-employment drug testing.
Complete physical agility tests and medical evaluations successfully.
Required to wear a uniform and equipment.
Ability to respond to 24-hour recall and work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Experience

Experience at GS-06 level includes emergency response, traffic enforcement, incident report writing, and preliminary investigations. For GS-07 level, experience in maintaining order and public safety, investigative stops, evidence protection, and court testimony is needed. Equivalent experience from any sector, including volunteer work, is considered.
