About the Position: This position is located at JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD / PIERCE / WASHINGTON, with the Directorate of US ARMY AVIATION AND MISSILE COMMANDUSATA, PRODUCTION DIRECTORATEOPERATIONAL ARMY (OA).

Duties

  • Prepares calibration reports for customer use, providing specific information such as assigned values, corrections factors, and measurement uncertainty for instruments being calibrated.
  • Assists and advises users in the application of, and calibration requirements for TMDE in support of their mission.
  • Implements, adapts, modifies and occasionally develops technical procedures required by changing user or equipment requirements.
  • Identifies and documents errors in existing procedures and provides information used for the development of technical documents used for TMDE calibration and certification.
  • Serves, as the workload dictates, as a specialist in physical/dimensional and ionizing radiation calibration. Performs other duties as assign.
