You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes utilizing qualitative and/or quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of complex management processes and systems, developing operational guidance for subordinate activities and participates with management in long-range planning; preparing a multitude of specialized budget summary reports for submission; maintaining surveillance over emergency contract mission operations; establishing priorities and making critical, time sensitive judgments for use of resources to save human lives.. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
