To qualify at the GS-12 grade level, applicants must have at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the federal sector.
Specialized experience must include the following:
- Gathering information, identifying, and analyzing issues, and developing recommendations through the application of qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques.
- Assisting with the planning of evaluations directed at ensuring that HSI and Habitability criterion are integrated into agency products and systems that result in safe and effective tools and interfaces.
- Recognizing the potential impact of safety and health hazard problems and coordinating those with the safety team.
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.

- Developing, managing, and application of policy in manpower, performance, support and training, human factors engineering (HFE), habitability, personnel survivability, system safety and occupational health, and habitability; furthering and merging HFE and Habitability.
- planning and conducting evaluations directed at ensuring that HSI and Habitability criterion are integrated into agency products and systems that result in safe and effective tools and interfaces.
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
