Qualifications
Minimum qualifications: (*The experience or the combination of experience and education must be reflected on your resume and supporting documentation such as transcripts, degrees, diplomas, etc. must be uploaded at the time of application to be considered eligible for this position.*)
- Managerial or supervisory work experience of the caliber described above that demonstrates comprehensive analytical skills and acquired formal training in financial analysis and financial management systems. (The work experience must be equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level.)
- Must possess good oral communication and writing skills.
- Strong organizational skills are required.
- Must be able to manage multiple concurrent projects effectively and present ideas and proposals to a variety of audiences.
- Knowledge of standard office software such as word processing, graphics presentation, spreadsheet and e-mail.
* Preferred are those candidates that process 4 years experience in MWR operations and / or financial management programs that provided a general knowledge of overall MWR operations and operational experience in hospitality operations, financial analysis, and budget operations. A Graduate degree in finance, accounting, or business is also preferred, however; adequate training and experience can be an acceptable substitute.
Highly Preferred Criteria: (*The experience must be reflected on your resume at the time of application to be considered a highly preferred candidate.)
Applicants who possess the following will be considered Highly Preferred:
- Experience with Non Appropriated Fund (NAF) CAT C business programs, to include business planning, budget development, personnel management, and financial management for at least 3 years or more.
- Experience of MWR Reinvestment planning to include CPMC, NAF Major Construction for a minimum of 2 years, AND 5 year planning for life cycle replacement experience.
- At least 1 year of work experience managing or directing one or more MWR Business activities (Golf, Bowling, or Food & Beverage) for a Garrison.
- Work experience directly related to Army NAF for at least 5 years.
