You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience is defined as: 1) Manage multiple aspects of assigned acquisition programs; 2) Advise leadership on programmatic decisions and interpreting acquisition regulations/directives; 3) Provide situational awareness briefings to senior leaders on program issues and progress in issue resolution; AND 4) Lead a team of acquisition professionals by prioritizing/assigning work, assessing performance, and coaching/mentoring.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/ level position in the federal service (NH-03 or GS-13).
