Summary

This position is located within the Division of Infrastructure, Environment, and Private Sector (IEPS) in the Department of Compact Operations (DCO), Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).

Although the position is advertised equivalent to GS-12, MCC uses a pay banded system to compensate employees. This position is Pay Band 4B which is generally equal to GS-12.

Duties

  • Assists in supporting IEPS Front office in oversight of the compact and threshold portfolio, including assessing status, and systematically tracking key milestones, risks, challenges, and opportunities across all stages of program development and implementation.
  • Works with Division managers to formulate, manage and report on the divisional administrative and due diligence budgets. Organizes regular reviews with the MDs on budget execution and Divisional priorities.
  • Works with relevant managers on the tracking and development of procurement actions in support of program development and implementation and Division goals.
  • Manages requests for information, briefing and communication materials, and formal document reviews and clearance processes.
  • Maintains key documents for the Division and manages the Division's knowledge management protocols, policies and guidance materials.
  • Manages and maintains IEPS-related SharePoint, Teams and external website content in collaboration with Practice Leads, MD, and DVP.
  • Conducts research and analysis on complex issues related to the work of the IEPS team, MCC, and broader foreign assistance topics to augment the Division's knowledge base and to coordinate learning activities.
  • Assists in developing tools and resources for program operations for IEPS, including for project management, budget tracking, staffing and consultant management, and mission planning and reporting.
  • Assists in the planning of workshops and team conferences, including developing agendas, organizing panel members and speakers, and coordinating logistics.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

To qualify for Pay Band 4B applicants must meet the following:
Have at least one year of specialized experience relevant to the position duties and comparable to the MCC Pay Band 4B (GS-12) or an equivalent level which is directly related to the work of this position, and which has equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. For this position, this experience is defined as:
  • tracking milestones, and preparing reports on international development and assistance programs and operations;
  • developing and managing automated systems used for project management, reporting, and program oversight;
  • conducting research and drafting reports to inform management about ongoing divisional projects; and
  • document and clearance process management, including briefing materials, communication materials, and investment documents.

  • RECRUITMENT/RELOCATION BONUS may be authorized for this position.
