Specialized Experience
You qualify for the GS-14 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in Federal service or equivalent private/public sector service. For this position, specialized experience is defined as:
- Develops and or modifies project schedules and manages the integration of multiple project schedules into an overall Integrated Master Schedule.
- Coordinates the implementation of MS Project Online and provides subject matter expertise, training, and support to enhance schedule performance across the organization.
- Must have proven experience applying GAO Schedule Assessment Guide Best Practices to include: Identify all activities, order all tasks, appoint resources, determine task durations, verify that the schedule can be traced horizontally and vertically, confirm critical path
as valid, ensure reasonable total float, conduct a schedule risk analysis, update the schedule using logic and durations and obtain stakeholder feedback to all Project Schedules.
- Must have proven experience implementing a risk management framework which include identifying risks, assessing risks, categorizing risks, evaluating risk data and assessing security controls.

Substitution of education in lieu of specialized experience may not be used for this grade level.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
