Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE CLEARLY VERIFIABLE IN YOUR RESUME. GOVERNMENT POSITIONS MUST INCLUDE PAY PLAN, SERIES, GRADE, TO AND FROM DATES, AND GOVERNMENT AGENCY/DEPARTMENT. All qualification requirements must include experience performing duties equivalent in scope and complexity to the next lower grade level.
- Must have successfully completed a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university that led to a degree in professional engineering.
- Must have work experience managing engineering projects.
- A combination of education and experience may be substituted for the degree requirement. This would be courses equivalent to a major in engineering plus appropriate experience or additional course work that provided knowledge comparable to that normally acquired through the successful completion of the 4-year course of study. Work experience is project management experience related to engineering and the duties of the position.
