Duties
SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Under the direction of the Marketing Director, the incumbent is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing graphic design, digital media, and content strategies in support of MCCS programs, services, promotions, special events, and other activities sponsored by or affiliated with MCCS operations.
Serves as the lead and oversees the development, coordination, and integration of MCCS graphic design, digital content, website, social media, and visual communication requirements. Plans and executes graphic designs, layouts, and visual media in support of printed and digital communications. Develops and produces a wide variety of advertising and promotional materials to include print advertisements, posters, brochures, signage, banners, direct mail, photography/video, website content, electronic marquees, digital signage, and other promotional items as needed.
MAJOR DUTIES:
Creates, designs, and manages MCCS website, digital assets, and social media content using a variety of programs to include Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign Premiere Pro, After Effects), Microsoft SharePoint, Facebook, Instagram, and other related software to prepare and execute visual/digital communication products to promote program participation and/or increase brand awareness.
Ability to shoot/edit photography and/or video for real-time/scheduled social media content. Organizes and tracks social analytics, website performance, and campaign results. Prepares after-action submissions, analyzes results, and makes recommendations for future campaigns, projects, and events.
Supervises multimedia, graphic design, print, and marketing staff to include task assignment, delegation, coaching, counseling, mentorship, leave request approval/disapproval, personnel actions, completing performance reviews, and facilitates professional development training. Assigns work, establishes priorities, reviews projects for quality, accuracy, and compliance. Ensures visual and digital communications are aligned with MCCS brand standards, communication strategies, and mission requirements.
Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy and professionalism. Takes action to solve problems quickly. Fosters a workplace culture founded on respect, accountability, and professional growth. Adheres to safety regulations, standards, and supporting principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment.

Qualifications
Bachelor¿s degree in graphic design, marketing, digital media, communications, visual arts, or related field appropriate to the work of the position and/or professional certification in graphic design, digital media, web content management, marketing, branding, photography, or related field AND four years of progressively responsible experience demonstrating knowledge of graphic design, layout, digital content development, branding, marketing strategy, photography, social media and/or website content management.
Strong computer skills are required to include Adobe Creative Suite applications, knowledge of website design and use of a content management system to include SharePoint, HTML/HTML5, CSS, and digital asset management is preferred. Must possess excellent written and oral communication, strong organizational and detail-oriented expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
Must have at least two years of supervisory/lead experience to include the ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and priorities, establish goals, and develop plans to meet those goals. Knowledge and ability to collaborate across a complex organization as well as navigate through the USMC military teams to accomplish objectives. Must possess a valid driver¿s license. This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds may be required.
