BASIC REQUIREMENT: Satisfactory completion of all the requirements for the doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology is required.

To qualify for the GS-15 level, candidates must have at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 or higher level in the Federal, State, or Local government or equivalent public or private sector experience. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
Specialized experience for this position must include:
- Conducting forensic psychological assessments and relevant analysis in special victim criminal cases (e.g., sexual assault, domestic violence, and child abuse); OR
- Providing expert authoritative professional psychological services to a criminal investigation or prosecution; AND
- Providing expert authoritative consultation in the field of forensic psychology on victim-related matters and memory; AND
- Researches, writes, and assesses relevant topics in the field of forensic psychology.
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
