Qualifications
GS-9: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the
GS-7 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
monitoring and evaluating contract quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with contract specifications for ship repair and overhaul.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
GS-9:
Successful completion of a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree with major study in quality assurance, statistics, mathematics, production management, industrial management, computer science, engineering, engineering technology, physical sciences, textiles, or another field related to the position.
OR
Successful completion of 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education with major study in quality assurance, statistics, mathematics, production management, industrial management, computer science, engineering, engineering technology, physical sciences, textiles, or another field related to the position.
OR

GS-7:
Successful completion of 1 full year of graduate level education with major study in quality assurance, statistics, mathematics, production management, industrial management, computer science, engineering, engineering technology, physical sciences, textiles, or another field related to the position.
OR
A bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement with major study in quality assurance, statistics, mathematics, production management, industrial management, computer science, engineering, engineering technology, physical sciences, textiles, or another field related to the position.
