Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1. Communicating basic knowledge of radiography requirements per Title 10 CFR, NAVSEA Standard Items and NAVSEA S0420AA-RAD-010 to include x-ray and sealed source emergency operation procedures.
2. Possessing general knowledge of shipboard hull and machinery repair and maintenance, including functional relationships among components and subsystems and use of specialized inspection and test equipment.
3. Maintaining the administrative and technical authority to certify as an NDT Examiner in the Visual Testing (VT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) and Penetrant Testing (PT) inspection methods as required by NAVSEA standards for non-nuclear applications or have been previously certified.
4. Applying skills to effectively communicate through /oral and written correspondence with NAVSEA authorities and at all levels of command management.
5. Maintaining the administrative and technical authority to certify as an NDT Examiner in the Radiographic Testing (RT) and Computed Radiography (CR) inspection methods as required by NAVSEA standards for non-nuclear applications or have been previously certified.
6. Demonstrating the skills and abilities to retain and utilize the knowledge necessary to achieve certification as a Level III Inspector in compliance with NAVSEA Technical Publication T9074-AS-GIB- 010/271.
