Duties
As a RECORDS AND INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, GS-0308- 11, you will work with non-homogenous work centers throughout the wing to integrate planning, development and implementation of knowledge programs and systems. Apply enterprise processes and technologies to capture, store, organize, share, and control tacit and explicit knowledge. Implement Continuous Process Improvement techniques to improve mission and business processes. Uses various software to enhance access to relevant cross-functional information. Provide training to managers and end-users regarding knowledge management principles, costs and benefits. Administer Enterprise Information Systems (EIS) to facilitate knowledge management and collaboration by developing, designing and maintaining websites. Provide EIS web management and administrative support. Ensure all site content adheres to applicable policies and standards. Provide training, consultation and instruction to end-users on database and file management techniques. Other duties as assigned.
Work Schedule: This position works on a 5/4/9 compressed work schedule that consists of a 5-day workweek, then a 4-day workweek (eight 9-hour days and one 8-hour day and an SDO, Scheduled Day Off) to complete the 80-hour pay period. Work schedule is subject to change based on mission requirements.

- Irregular and overtime hours may be required to support operational requirements or contingencies.
- The work may require the employee to drive a motor vehicle and if so, an appropriate valid driver’s license is required.
- Position designated Essential Personnel, may be subject to duty in preparation for, or in response to, a state emergency or disaster declaration. Designation will not exceed 14 calendar days per year unless otherwise approved in advance by the TAG.
- PHYSCIAL DEMANDS: The work is primarily sedentary, although some slight physical effort may be required. Physical demands correspond with this level.
- The employee may be required to travel in military and/or commercial aircraft toperform temporary duty assignments.

- Conducts travel to and from offsite worksite from the normal work area. This may include Operating Locations (OL) and/or Geographically Separated Units (GSU). Due to distances involved, travel may involve one or more overnight stays.
- Individual must possess a secret clearance and may be required to obtain a top secret clearance with eligibility to access sensitive compartmented information (TS-SCI) within one year of appointment

Qualifications
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must have clerical, office, or other work that indicates you have the ability to perform records information management work which includes planning, controlling, directing, organizing, training, promoting, and other activities involved with respect to records.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least one year experience equivalent to the next lower level skill in applying analytical and evaluative techniques to the identification, consideration, and resolution of issues or problems of a procedural or factual nature. Must have knowledge of the theory and principles of management and organization, including administrative practices and procedures common to organizations, delegation of authority, routing of correspondence, filing systems, and storage of files and records.
