  • Must be certified IAW DoD 8570.01-M, Federal Information Security Management Act of 2002, Clinger Cohen Act of 1996.
  • Must be obtain Special Experience Identifier (SEI) 264, IAW current AF directives. Information Assurance – Technical Level II (IAT II), IAW current AF directives.
  • Conducts travel to and from offsite worksite(s) from the normal work area to perform assigned duties. May include Operating Locations and/or Geographically Separated Units. Due to distances involved, travel may involve one or more overnight stays.
  • Irregular and overtime (compensatory) hours may be required to support operational requirements or contingencies.
  • The employee may be required to travel in military and/or commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty assignments.
  • Individual must possess Secret clearance and may be required to obtain a top-secret clearance with eligibility to access sensitive compartmented information (TS-SCI).
  • Position is designated as Essential Personnel and may be subject to duty in preparation for, or in response to, a state emergency or disaster declaration and will not exceed 14 calendar days per year unless otherwise approved in advance by the TAG.

Qualifications

AREA OF CONSIDERATION:

DUTIES:
As a RECORDS & INFO MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT) (T5551000), GS-0308-11, you will implement and administer the Knowledge Management Program within the Wing tenants and Geographically Separated Units (GSUs), if assigned, network and manual operating environments. This includes the management, organization, direction, control, and customer education of all actions associated with the collection, creation, use, and dissemination of official information, and related records to include Wing, tenants and GSUs if assigned.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Assignments do not regularly involve long periods of standing, bending, and stooping to observe and study work operations in an industrial, storage, or comparable work area.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment is a normal office environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

SELECTIVE PLACEMENT FACTOR:

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
Applicant must possess at least ONE (1) year at the next lower-level GS-09 or the equivalent THIRTY-SIX (36) months of specialized experience performing or supervising duties such as managing the record management requirements and record life cycle; administrating user access controls, electronic record structure and permissions; serving as the primary liaison between users, functional areas, and technology; developing and implementing policy and guidance; validates all data related business requirement for manage and protect data; developing integrative dashboards of data; providing training, consultation and instruction on database and file management techniques; planning, developing and implementing of knowledge programs and systems; applying enterprise processes and technologies; implementing continuous process improvement techniques; using various software; providing administrative support, training, consultation and instruction to end-users on database and file management techniques; recommending appropriate technologies to support current policies and practices; analyzing, evaluating, advising and improving work methods and procedures.

Education

SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in any fields listed below leading to a bachelor's degree, in an accredited college or university, (30 semester's hours or 20 classroom hours of instruction per week) for 6 months of specialized experience. Courses must be directly related to the work of the position.
