About the position: This position will be a Recreation Assistant assigned to Osan Air Base MiG Alleys Bowling Center; includes 24 lanes, a state-of-the-art lighting system and appealing daily food specials. This is a FLEXIBLE (FLEX) position. A Flex (Intermittent) schedule does not have guaranteed hours, and you may work 0-40 hours per week as needed by the facility.

Duties
Assists in the operation and maintenance of the Bowling Center. Types of duties include but are not limited to the following: Responsible for counter control operation which includes assignment of bowling lanes, shoe rental, cash control, locker rental, sale of bowling merchandise, and assisting customers. Prepares daily reports and deposits receipts in the safe at the close of each shift. Ensures leagues start at the correct time, noting unusual delays and informs league officials of any corrective action that may be required. When closing the facility, completes all checklists and ensures building is secure. Position requires moderate lifting, prolonged standing and walking. Position is a position of trust.

- This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
- Work may require sitting, walking, long periods of standing, bending and lifting of moderately heavy items up to 40 pounds without assistance and occasional lifting of heavier items with assistance.
- Work schedule is subject to change and may include working mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, as well as split days off.
- Work is primarily performed indoors; however, may require some outdoor work from time to time.
