Duties
Position duties include, but are not limited to:
1. Describes the technical vision and content of PO portfolios to external audiences and support scientific proposal reviews, providing input on the technical strengths and weaknesses of research and development proposals.
2. Advises POs in support of research opportunities, assessments and recommends new efforts, assists with budget development, and provides guidance on carrying out associated technical and program management responsibilities to include technical analysis, program strategies and support for off-base initiatives.
3. Conducts timely technical analysis to define, assess, and monitor new and emerging research opportunities, and potential thrust ideas for AFOSR.
4. Aides in determining optimal program strategies, including metrics, goals, and objectives of innovative results.
5. Assists with grant processing and budget management.
